Simetria delivers refurbishment programmes across PBSA, BTR, hotels and other living-sector assets, from targeted upgrades to complete room, apartment, amenity and building refurbishments.

Our scope can include kitchens, bathrooms and ensuites, flooring, decoration, lighting, electrical and heating upgrades, bespoke joinery, furniture and FF&E, amenity spaces, external areas, fire doors and passive fire compliance. Clients can appoint Simetria for an individual workstream or an integrated end-to-end refurbishment programme.

Yes. A significant part of our refurbishment work is delivered within live and occupied PBSA and BTR buildings, where programme control, resident communication, safety and minimising disruption are critical.


We can phase works by room, floor, building or workstream and coordinate deliveries, installation and specialist trades around the operation of the asset. For summer PBSA programmes, we can also deliver accelerated refurbishment programmes around student departure and arrival dates.

Yes. Furniture and FF&E can be fully integrated into the refurbishment programme rather than procured as a separate package.

This includes bespoke furniture, kitchens and joinery alongside selected European furniture, lighting and interior brands.

Yes. Simetria can integrate fire door inspection, remediation, replacement and passive fire stopping directly into wider refurbishment works.

As a BM TRADA Q-Mark certified contractor, our fire compliance capability allows refurbishment and compliance workstreams to be coordinated under one delivery structure, reducing the need for separate contractors while maintaining the required certification, inspection records and digital Golden Thread.

For PBSA summer programmes, works can be phased across multiple rooms or apartments each week, helping maximise the available period between student departures and new academic-year arrivals.
