Project Overview
Simetria delivered specialist architectural lighting design, installation and furniture packages for a luxury spa and hotel resort in Palanga, Lithuania. Combining bespoke decorative lighting, carefully coordinated ambient illumination and contemporary furniture, the project created a distinctive hospitality environment where architecture, natural materials and lighting work together to enhance the guest experience.
Set within the natural surroundings of Lithuania's Baltic coastline, this luxury spa and hotel complex combines contemporary architecture, expansive glazing and carefully selected natural materials to create an exclusive wellness destination. Simetria's scope encompassed architectural lighting design, technical specification, installation and furniture provision across key hospitality and wellness spaces.
The lighting scheme was developed to complement the building's distinctive architecture, with particular attention to the relationship between natural daylight, interior illumination and the surrounding landscape.
Decorative feature lighting, discreet architectural luminaires and carefully positioned accent lighting were incorporated to create different atmospheres throughout the resort.
Within the spa and wellness areas, lighting was designed to support a calm, relaxing environment, while reception and communal spaces combined statement lighting with comfortable contemporary furniture.
The project demonstrates Simetria's ability to coordinate technical lighting design, specialist installation and furniture packages within a high-end hospitality environment.
What we delivered
ARCHITECTURAL & DECORATIVE LIGHTING DESIGN

Simetria developed a coordinated lighting scheme incorporating statement decorative fittings, architectural accent lighting and discreet ambient illumination. The design complemented the resort's contemporary architecture, natural materials and extensive glazing, creating distinct lighting environments across reception, lounge, spa and communal areas.
TECHNICAL LIGHTING SPECIFICATION & INSTALLATION

Our scope included technical lighting specification, luminaire positioning, lighting coordination and installation. Particular consideration was given to visual comfort, light distribution, colour temperature and the differing requirements of hospitality, circulation and wellness environments, ensuring lighting was integrated with the architectural design.
LUXURY FURNITURE & FF&E

Simetria supplied and coordinated contemporary furniture and FF&E selected to complement the resort's sophisticated interior design. Lounge seating, occasional furniture and furnishings were integrated with the wider lighting and architectural scheme to create comfortable, welcoming spaces consistent with the property's luxury positioning.
